Protected Geographical Indication DramaThe most famous brand name of the NICO LAZARIDI Winery is related to the company’s history, as well as to the oenological revival of the Prefecture of Drama in 1987. The vineyard, where the grapes are cultivated, encompasses perimetrically the Château Nico Lazaridi Winery, which is fully adjusted to the natural environment.
A combination of the international varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Ugni Blanc, along with the Greek variety of Muscat of Alexandria confirms the superior quality of the

. It belongs to the Château Nico Lazaridi family and is characterized by the painter Iannis Nikou’s new work of art, having as a main theme the dance of the senses.A bright colored wine with intense green and yellow highlights with delicate, intense aromas of white-flesh summer fruits. Impressive in the mouth with a distinctive pleasant acidity and pure, fruity long-lasting aftertaste. Served chilled at 8-12oC. An excellent match for shellfish, fish, lean white meat and cooked dishes of Mediterranean cuisine.

Varietals: 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Ugni Blanc, 10% Muscat of Alexandria.

Production Area: Northern Greece, in Macedonia, at the local communities of Agora, Pigadia, Adriani, in the valley and the low hills on the South-East of Drama town.

Vineyards: Moderately sloping ground, up to an altitude of 250 m with a north-south exposure, which provides perfect growing and ripening conditions for these varieties.

Harvest : August-September.

Vinification Method: White vinification with cold maceration for 10-20 hours at 12-15o C.
